Astra Circuits Ltd – with over 30 years of manufacturing experience, began life offering PCB design and electromechanical solutions. It was not long however before customers were asking us too handle prototyping and manufacture of PCB’s. This started with single sided circuits in 1977 and had developed by 1982 to include manufacture of double sided PCB’s. This made us the first company in the UK’s west and southwest to pioneer the concept of manufacture after birth as a ‘Design House’. In 1989 Astra committed itself to becoming a truly national PCB manufacturer, investing in the hi-tech plant required to produce multi-layer circuits that were to attract major national and international customers.
